Poem from Prompts 1The sandwich tasted as good as it smelled As I run my fingers over the smooth surface of the tabletop I saw you standing across the room from me, Your voice was drowned out by the radio All I could hear was the music Not your voice Nothing of what you're trying to say to me comes through All I hear, all I want to hear, is the music on the radio.
